FAQ's

Skilled nursing is an invaluable resource for those who require extended medical attention. It is a comprehensive, 24/7 type of medical care that patients can receive outside of the hospital. This level of care is ideal for individuals looking to make steady progress towards recovery and maintain a healthy lifestyle. The process includes a personalized treatment plan for each patient to ensure that their specific needs are met. By being in a supportive and nurturing environment, they can make steady progress towards their recovery and reach optimal health.

Rest assured that we are committed to providing assistance with any inquiries you may have, whether they pertain to the care provided in our compassionate communities or understanding your insurance coverage and expenses. Our Admissions team will thoroughly examine your insurance benefits and eligibility before your admission, and will communicate with you to ensure a clear understanding of your coverage prior to check-in. If you prefer, you can also contact your insurance provider directly by calling the member services number on your card to receive guidance from a customer service representative regarding the specifics of your plan.

Upon your arrival, we encourage you to personalize your space with items that bring you comfort and familiarity. This may include family photos, a cozy blanket, and small trinkets. It’s also important to bring clothing that is both easy to wear and suitable for the activities involved in your recovery, such as therapy. Consider items like well-fitting shoes, pants with elastic waists, and sweaters with convenient zippers. While we do provide personal hygiene products, you have the option to bring your own labeled items.

It’s important to note that while we stock a variety of pain medications for your comfort, we may not have the specific medications prescribed by your doctor upon admission. We recommend ensuring you have all necessary medications from the hospital before discharge so you can bring them with you upon check-in.
